Original signed watercolor painting. This is taken from one of my own photographs on a visit to Princess Royal Island. The guides at the nearby lodge were keeping a close check on it after being found exhausted on the beach after eating too many salmon!…luckily it got better as the days went by, although still very tired, we were able to kayak so close up to it and take pictures. Image size 9″ x 11 1/2″ will fit a standard picture frame 14″ x 17″ with mat.

Big Wave Tofino

I love hearing the sound of big waves crashing along the shoreline, and Tofino on the west coast of British Columbia is a favorite for surfers from all over the world.

I was experimenting with colours in this painting, the image size is 14 1/2″ x 19 1/2″, and will fit a standard picture frame 20″ x 24″ with mat.

The Pamir

Original and signed watercolor painting of this German warship. I imagined that this mighty queen of the seas was in pursuit of it’s enemy, but after reading more about The Pamir I found out that it has indeed a very sad story to tell as it came to a very sad end at the hands of hurricane ‘Carrie’ which maybe is seen looming behind in this painting. There is a movie now about The Pamir, and also a New Zealand Pamir Association. Image size is 14″ x 21″ will fit a standard picture frame 20″ x 26″ with mat.
